EM DIRECTOR
Matthew K. Adkins

Director Adkins appointed Director on May 1, 2005 has been part of ABC Emergency Management since 1988, serving as a volunteer member until coming onto the full time paid staff as Deputy Director in 1996.

Director Adkins in addition to his duties is a certified Hazardous Materials Response Instructor, Amateur Radio Operator, Radiological Response Instructor for the Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security.  Mr. Adkins is also employed by State Fire and Rescue Training as a fire instructor.

Mr. Adkins also has experience in the Mental Health Professions as well as being a Volunteer Firefighter.  He has also worked in the private sector as a Safety and Hazardous Materials Response Consultant.

DEPUTY EM DIRECTOR
Jimmie Harold Holley

Known to everyone as Harold, Deputy Director Holley was appointed to his position in November of 2005.  Mr. Holley is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, and has worked in the Emergency Medical Service Field for many years.  He also maintains positions as a part time paid professional firefighter and works as needed for Boyd County EMS. Mr. Holley is also employed by State Fire Rescue Training as a Fire Instructor. 

Mr. Holley is a certified hazardous materials instructor, swift water response technician, and rescue diver.  His hobbies are primarily related to his passion, emergency management and response.
